FMC Corporation maintains a corporate contributions and philanthropy program that benefits employees and the communities in which we operate. We direct our contributions in the following manner:

United Way: FMC Corporation supports the United Way in most of the communities in which we operate. The United Way provides us with an efficient and effective way to make a difference in these communities. All FMC employees are encouraged to contribute. FMC annually matches employee United Way contributions up to 60 percent on the dollar based on the percent of employee participation at each site.

Matching Gifts: Together as partners, FMC Corporation and its employees make a difference in supporting educational and cultural institutions that enrich and strengthen our communities. FMC Corporation supports employee donations with a matching gift plan providing a one-to-one match of gifts (up to $10,000/year) to certain educational institutions and art and cultural organizations.

Dollars For Doers: FMC Corporation supports "Dollars for Doers" programs to recognize and encourage community service. Employees' time spent with qualifying organizations is matched up to $500.

National Merit Scholarship Program: FMC Corporation offers this program and awards annually with three scholarships at $1,000 for each of four years.

Local Contributions: Manufacturing plants and operations are encouraged to participate in and support local community initiatives. It is left to individual businesses to decide when and how such contributions should be made. Funding for local contributions is made directly by the businesses and not through the foundation or corporate office.
