What's New?

FMC Procurement is on the path to operational excellence! Would you like to join us? Click here if you would like to become an FMC supplier.

Over the past two years, FMC has embarked on several key Procurement initiatives to support our Vision 2015. We have a newly formed Global Procurement Group who is responsible for managing all spend for goods and services, we have worked with the business to drive costs out of our supply chain, and we are now implementing tools and SAP technologies to standardize our Source to Pay Processes.

A part of our program is focused on working with our key suppliers to help make our transactional processes more efficient and effective by driving more spend to our preferred suppliers and by automating some of our transactional activity via catalog purchases and EDI.

Specifically, we will be focusing on implementing the following processes to support our growth:

  • EDI to exchange purchase orders, acknowledgements, change orders, and invoices
  • Catalogs for non-inventory goods & services (punchout catalog or CSV internal catalog)

The new SAP SRM eProcurement system to purchase goods and services went live in North America in December 2012 and will be coming to our global regions in 2013.

To get ready for this global implementation, our Supplier Enablement Leaders will be reaching out to our suppliers to discuss our plans to expand the use of these two processes in 2013.

We appreciate your support in helping us achieve our vision and goals. If you have any questions or would like to be considered for this project, send an email to supplier_enablement@fmc.com
